What is Building and Development?
The Building and Development Team work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the provision of a sustainable and efficient schools. infrastructure through the management and oversight of a strategic capital programme and delivery of assigned projects.
We provide professional and technical advice on capital schemes, assist Trustees and schools to access capital investment from the Department of Education, and support delivery of capital projects. We also support the area planning process by assessing the capital or site requirements to deliver area planning proposals.
